A collection of nine letters written by Hutterite leader Jakob Hutter. Includes letters of encouragement, warning, and admonition to his faithful brethren as well as a stern letter to the emperor himself. One letter discusses the Great Schism of 1533 from Hutter’s perspective. The letters were written during a time of intense persecution and give a glimpse into the trying realities which existed. The book includes a historical introduction.
