This book includes two of the earliest Christian apologetic works, explaining and defending Christianity.  Mark Felix’s Octavius is an account of an informal debate between a Christian and a pagan, in which the pagan is, in the end, converted to Christianity.  Justin Martyr’s First Apology, addressed to the Roman emperor, explains what the early Christians believed about war, abortion, predestination, the Trinity, etc.  Valuable resource on early Christianity.
