What is Traditional Text Bible Publishers?
TTB Publishers consists of a team from various conservative Anabaptist churches. Their goal is to produce an accurate Bible translation that is free of archaisms and that presents God’s Word with clarity and good readability. While the King James Version is an excellent translation, all languages change with time, and with each passing generation, KJV English becomes easier to misinterpret because of word meanings constantly shifting. The Traditional Text Bible is being translated from Greek and Hebrew, and is reviewed by knowledgeable team members who are skilled in the original languages and/or current English style. The goal is not to pressure anyone into changing Bible translations, but rather to simply make a new one available for those who choose to use it to some degree or another in better understanding the Word of God.
