The Whirlwind Cometh

The Mennonites at first didn’t pay much attention to their country’s new prime minister. Life was good. They were prosperous. Then one Sunday morning, everything changed. Officers entered the church house and took all the young men to be enrolled in the Youth Employment Program. Can any of them get CO status? This fictional story attempts to nudge the sluggish conscience and give a wake-up call to those who have grown lukewarm and smug through ease and prosperity.
