She Shall Be Praised

Who is the Proverbs 31 woman–an inspiring role model or an impossible pattern of perfection? Some women despair when comparing their lives to the Proverbs 31 checklist. She Shall Be Praised invites us to lay down the list and reexamine this famous passage. These pages consider twenty-one women in the Bible–women remembered not because of their skills and talents, but for how their lives displayed the power of God.

Historical information, additional Bible reading, and reflection questions help us rediscover the Proverbs 31 Woman and renew our love for a God whose strength is revealed through our weakness, not our accomplishments.
