Money in the Cow Feed

“Please go to the mill and ask Papa for some money. Baby Rosa needs milk,” Mama told Tommy. But when Papa reached into his pocket for his pay, it wasn’t there!

Months later, a farmer in Virginia found one of his dairy cows nuzzling a wad of money in the feed trough. Can he find the person who lost the money?

This true story from 1963 is told through the eyes of eight-year-old Tommy from South Carolina and nine-year-old Jimmy from Virginia.
