Lessons from the Mirror

To mark the 500^th anniversary of Anabaptism, all of the engravings by Jan Luyken that illustrated the Martyrs Mirror have been carefully gathered and beautifully published in one unforgettable edition. The original portfolio of 104 images gain support from 11 more of his etchings on the same theme that are seldom seen. Deeper context and thought-provoking questions come from introductory essays by Mary Sprunger, professor of history at Eastern Mennonite University, and J. Ross Baughman, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and educator.
