Close or Closed Communion?

Why can’t we practice an open communion in the spirit of Christian fellowship with all fellow-believers on the road to Heaven? Why do we practice “closed communion,” excluding Christian non-members? These good questions deserve honest and careful answers. We want the sincere seeker who wishes to commune with fellow believers to know that our practice of closed communion is not a judgment on his faith. This booklet shows the Biblical and historic basis for the practice of closed communion.
